Scheck Hillel’s The Little Mermaid Jr.

It’s time to go under the sea! Lower school members of Scheck Hillel’s Jordan Alexander Arts Program are performing The Little Mermaid Jr. starting December 3rd, with the show closing on December 6th. The performance is being directed by John Baldwin and produced by Stuart Rosenthal. Over 30 students from 3rd to 5th grade are eagerly waiting for the performances and have been practicing in rehearsals since August.

The story follows mermaid princess Ariel, who has a fascination with all things related to the human world. After she falls in love with human prince Eric, she must go against her father’s will to seal a bargain with the sea witch Urusula to be united with her one true love. With the help of friends from both under the sea and above the surface, she can win Prince Eric’s heart and live happily ever after as a human girl.
