He warned Tehran, the capital of Iran, that Israel will not allow Iran’s nuclear program and regional power to grow. Netanyahu recognized the human suffering in Gaza, though he blamed Hamas for the crisis, claiming that Israel holds the right to defend itself. The prime minister also rejected any ceasefire against Hamas, instituting that only “victory and security” will bring peace. To conclude his speech, Netanyahu said that history will forever judge whether nations decide to stand with Israel in this war or turn them down in an act of appeasement.
