In the highly anticipated football game between the Scheck Hillel Lions and the Posnack Rams, the Lions fell short, losing 13–7. After taking an early 7-0 lead, the Lions gave up two scores.
Both sides gave it their all during this match. What sparked the Lions’ near win, however, was the return of star quarterback Elie Tamir, whose presence propelled Scheck Hillel to a quick start, scoring early in the first half. Senior Gabriel Attias was on the receiving end of the offense’s early success.
On the defensive end of the field, the Lions gave up an early score, but stood strong for the remainder of the first half of the game. As the half came to a close, Senior Daniel Sutton made a crucial interception, stopping what was to be a successful Posnack drive up until that point.
