“When you start the college process you have no idea where you are going to end up. You are thrown into the ocean, and they tell you to see what you like, what you want to do with your life and they tell you that no matter what, things are going to work out. They say everyone ends up where they are supposed to end up but the truth is that no one really believes that. So we started the college process and applied to many different schools. Steven and Sarah got into the University of Pennsylvania under the Early Decision plan, meaning that they were notified of their acceptance in mid-December which was amazing, but most of us had no idea what was going to happen. A couple of weeks ago, when Abraham and I found out that we got into Penn as well, the feeling was incredible. It was the first time I realized that what Mrs. Donaher and everyone had been telling me was true. Everyone ends up where they are supposed to end up! It is unbelievable to think that I am going to the next stage of my life, which is a transition that is extremely bittersweet because I love Hillel, but I am also super excited to go into the greater world with my best friends. I am very lucky, and I can’t wait to see what awaits us.”
